Shuttleworth play area

Set within 60 acres of space housing historic aircraft hangers, the play area was opened by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and is one of the first UK Play Research and Resource Centres into Children’s Play. The play area includes special ‘high activity’ units for older children and much of the equipment has been designed for inclusive play to provide opportunities for children whatever their physical abilities. Suitable for children up to 12 years old.
